विश्वका सबैभन्दा होचा भनिएका १६ वर्षीय खगेन्द्र थापामगर हालै तीन कक्षामा भर्ना भएका छन्। रुपबहादुर थापा मगर र धनमायाको कोखबाट बाग्लुङको धुल्लकोटमा सन् १९९२ मा जन्मिएका खगेन्द्रको उचाई २४ इन्च र तौल ५.५ केजि रहेको बताइन्छ।
गिनिज बुक वर्ल्ड रेकर्डमा नाम लेखाउन कम्तीमा १८ वर्ष पुग्नु पर्ने प्रावधान रहेको छ। गिनिज बुकमा नाम लेखाउन उनको नाममा प्रतिष्ठानसमेत खडा गरिएको छ। विश्वकै होचा मान्छेको विश्व कीर्तिमान कायम गर्न उनले अझै दुई वर्ष प्रतीक्षा गर्नु पर्ने भएको छ।
खगेन्द्र थापा मगर पोखराको नागढुंगास्थित सरस्वती बोर्डिङ स्कुलका आफ्ना सहपाठीहरुसंग पढ्दै र खेल्दै । तस्विरः सुदर्शन रन्जित, पोखरा / एचकेनेपाल डट कम।
now m very surprised to see the Mr Khagendra. i had seen him many years age while i had gone to his village (Dhullu Baskot Village Development Committee) at the time of working in a project from Baglung District of Dhaulagiri Zone. i was also tried to have his picture but i was now allowed for it by his parent. i didn’t care how old he was at that time and i had not also thought that he will be the world’s petite person. after a long time i knew all about him which made me a recollection of the time while i had passed nearly two months in his villages.
however, i wish him and his panent that they may get the fully help and support by all. i love him and wish all do so.

so shame yr.coz of lack of nutritious le short vayeko nepali dont understand yr.if peoples see him how they are thinkin about yr.plz gvt try to supply enough nutritious to all infants.

i hope and pray to god that khagendra will win the shortest person in the world contest in the coming years after 2,,, if he is success then there will be one nepali ko choro to win the world record,, so i wish all the best to khagendra n his family to write his name in genius book and win the world record,,, and i also hope our government should keep an interest in these kind of things to keep our country name and fame,,, all the best khagendra jii,,,,
